Dr. Carrie C. Klett

Education:  Dr. Klett graduated from Duke University in 1985 with a bachelors degree in zoology.  Dr. Klett obtained her Master's Degree in genetics from The George Washington University and recieved her medical degree in 1993 from the Medical College of VA.  She completed her residency at the high-risk center at The University of Tennessee at Memphis. At the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, she completed a preceptorship in pelvic floor prolapse/stress urinary incontinence.

Professional Highlights:   Dr. Klett was awarded the "Top 40 Under 40" by Richmond's Inside Business Magazine and was nominated as one of the top 50 "IT" people to know in Richmond by Richmond Magazine.  Dr. Klett was recognized with the Leadership Development Award by the Richmond Academy of Medicine and served on an insurance company's Regional Peer Review Committee. She served as a delegate for the Medical Society of Virginia and was apppointed by the Govenor as the Obstetrics representative to the Hearing Impaired Legislation Forum. In addition, the Consumer Research Council listed Dr. Klett in the Guide to Top OB/Gyns in America.

Personal Background:   Dr. Klett has been an active and sustainer member of the Junior Leagues of Richmond and Charlotte. She volunteers for local charities and has helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity.  She enjoys scuba diving, traveling, skiing and sailing.

Our office is staffed by friendly professional women. Amy is our receptionist and clinic assistant, Susan is our check-out and insurance specialist, Christina and Jill are the doctor's nurses and clinical assistants, and Louann is the Office Manager. We encourage you to get to know these women as they are just as much a part of the office as Dr. Klett and at times can help you with things that she can not!
